I try to follow the instructions of the component to setup the basic authentication, but this is I think not supported anymore by our JIRA version. Only Oath is possible.

I was able to succesfully setup the JIRA connector to work with OAuth.

What do I need to do (change) for App Feedback to Jira component to use the Oauth authentication of the JIRA Connector

Were you able to configure it? I need to also set it up and I'm having some issues.

Hi Kurt,

Yes we have it working, but we ended up cloning the AppFeedback to JIRA component as we had more requirements for example to direct the feedback to different JIRA projects based on LifeTime Team.

The authorization logic is actually in the JIRA connector component, and there you have to set the JIRAAuthorizeURL site property to your JIRA environment

Hi Daniël.

The latest version of this component upgraded the APIs to version 3, which is the most recent version from Atlassian. However, it's still using Basic Authentication. I've updated the steps in order to set up an API Token, hopefully this will be much simpler now.

Regarding your other requirements, the new version of this component has a data model that allows each application to synchronize to a different Jira repository or project. The user interface still doesn't allow to configure it at this level, but you can either build scaffolding screens or manipulate the database directly, in order to configure it to your needs.

Let me know if you have any other needs that are not fulfilled by this newer version.
