I have 5 different roles.for every roles I have different landing page.how to handle this one for respective user against role.how to open respective dashboard against role and user
I want to clarify one.we have home page.in this page preparation can I create custom logic for redirection.is it ok?or any built in functionality is available

That's exactly what you would do. Have an empty "home" page, that does nothing but redirect in its Preperation, based on Privileges:
You can have a single Landing Page.
In Preparation check the role and redirect to the specific page accordingly.
Then what is the purpose of multiple entry point
That's a good point, and the answer probably shrouded in the mist of the history of the Platform :).
