Popup Inside a List of Mobile APP

We have a list Group, Inside that we have one label, one Input widget with Date Time input variable, One Popup For Comments. Outside the list we have one save and Back buttons.

User can change either date time or comments for the records.

when user changes date Time of a particular record and then clicks on the Pop up then he can edit the comments. Our problem is we are unable to pass inputs to the popup and every time we need to maintain some local variable for this purpose which can get the comments based on the ID of that record.

At the end we will have a save button where we can save the all changes done for the List of records.

My issue is there is some mismatch in the comments associated with List as there is no Input Parameter Associated with the PopUp.

Hi Saranya,

Is your popup inside the screen itself or is it inside a web block?

For if it is inside the screen, the changed variables will be affected at the same time, and if it is inside a web block, you can use the OnParameterChange to update the web block data

Regards

My Popup is inside a web block. When Comments are changed inside the Popup we should send the comments back back to the screen for that particular list current value.

Hi,

The list inside block is attributed by an query?

If yes, you will create an input parameter (it is Refresh: type = boolean) in the block.
When the user performs the update, you update this popup variable.
In the popup, you will use the "OnParameterChange" logic, and within this logic you will use the query update.
