I finish install step4    LifeTimeWithPlatformServer-Feb.2019.exe

but step 5     iis not have lifetime       how to continuous?


5. Configure the infrastructure management console

Now it's time to configure the infrastructure management console. This will allow you to register the several environments you have, so that you can manage them from a centralized console.

Logging in LifeTime for the first time

After you have installed LifeTime, open it in your browser using the URL https://<your_lifetime_server>/lifetime. If you are installing OutSystems for the first time, use the default credentials (admin/admin) to login and change these credentials right after registering all your environments.

Somjet, did you follow the installation checklist? The installer does not do any of these checklist steps automatically, and at the end of the checklist you should have lifetime deployed in IIS.

If you have followed the checklist, or you're having trouble following it, I would recommend you to contact OutSystems support.

Execute this step to install LifeTime in this environment:

  • Log in to ServiceCenter using your administrator credentials (https://<yourserver>/ServiceCenter)
  • Go to the solutions screen (Factory -> Solutions)
  • Click Upload and Publish a Solution and select the LifeTime.osp file in the Platform Server installation directory (e.g.: C:\Program Files\OutSystems\Platform Server\).
  • Click 1-Click Publish, or Prepare Publish if you have 2-Stage deployment active.
  • Log in to LifeTime to set up your infrastructure (https://<yourserver>/lifetime)

Dear Somjet,

As per provided information, I can understand that you have installed infrastructure management console.
Now you need to configure it.

For configuration of environment, one very important thing mentioned in document is it must run in dedicated environment. Means in this environment there should not be any other environments running in the same infrastructure. (i.e. your dev or production env.).
Is this the same case for you?
Are you installing in a dedicated environment ?

Quick question.
What do you mean by "iis not have lifetime"? 
Is this the error you are getting while trying to configure it?

Hi Somjet,

Which way do you want to use a LifeTime?
- Same server with production or
- Dedicated - separated server

After you install service center, you also need to install a LifeTime component.
Could you go to your platform service center https://platform/servicecenter and check do you have LifeTime?

If you don't have you must install LifeTime.osp from your server's local disk.
C:\Program Files\ Outsystems\Platform Server

But please follow the official installation document. It has enough information about the installation.
