Has anyone got this component working now that JIRA have removes the basic authentication? For the life of me I can't get any combination of private keys, public keys or certificates that the extension will even pass let alone try to authenticate with JIRA. Appreciate any suggestions

Solution

Hi,

Please have a look at the solution of this post:

Hope it helps,

Solution

From what I can see the basic auth is nolonger just depreciated it has been completely removed as of a week or so ago. We need to do server to server level authentication (ie using it in a timer for ect feedback transfer) and it looks like only full oauth is available

Ok never mind, looks like that does actual work but there is something else changed as well

Hi there,

Just started to look at this module to integrate OS with Jira. When installing it warns that it depends on an older version of the Outsystems UIWeb (1.2.1). Do you know if I just can ignore the warning and try with the current UI Web version (1.7.7); just trying to see how much work is involved before hand. Thanks!

Hi Henry,

Next time create a new post. Your question has nothing to do with the original post. Any solution to your answer can not be marked as solution.

The answer to your question is that you can refresh the dependencies and republish the module. It should be a problem.

Daniel
