I am evaluating the component before it's adopted in one financial engagement. I read Web Previewer  uses the public APIs from Google and Microsoft to preview the files. 

- Does the file goes through the public rendering service?

- Is the file secure and doesn't possess any leakage concern?

Any thought/clarification?

Yes, the component uses the public APIs; and it needs the open internet connection to be able to do this.


  • Is the file secure and doesn't possess any leakage concern?

This component follows best practices for security, and code quality as stated by OutSystems.
