Timer Errors
Question

When a timer runs it gives the below issues.Can you please tell what is the reason behind the error:-     


Recovering timer  execution. It is marked as running for too long

Timer  error. Timer duration = 115 secs: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The wait operation timed out.) [Will retry later]

Hi Divya,

Are you using entities from an external database?
It seems like the database connection is not valid or your server doesn't have access to reach the server.
