Failed to execute 'openDatabase' on 'Window while running mobile app chrome browser
Question

Hi,

Suddenly I am getting following error while trying to run the application in Chrome Browser.

It was working earlier.


unable to open database (14 sqlite_open returned null)

Solution

Things to try, in order to help isolate the issue:

  • Test on a different machine...do you still get the error?
  • Clear the browser cache...do you still get the error?
  • Test in incognito mode...do you still get the error?
  • Try closing Chrome, ensuring all instances are closed, and restarting Chrome...do you still get the error?
  • Try rebooting the machine where the error is occurring...do you still get the error?

I opened incognito mode. It worked for me. Thanks for help it saved my time.

If it only works in Incognito mode, you may need to clear the cache for the site or close and reopen the browser to clear the issue. Glad you were able to get it working.
