The "View Mode" of a phone affects my webapp.

Hi,

I developed a web application in outsystems 10, it is finished and ok, but I found a specific problem when the webpage is open in a android phone.

When the application is viewed from a phone that has its View Mode set in "small" and not in "default", the elements of the web page are affected.

This is the bad view with the ViewMode in "small":

This is the correct view with the ViewMode in "default":

The View Mode is a configurable property that some phones have, its function is to change the size of the interface, either larger or smaller.

This is the View Mode Configuration:

I know it is a user configuration outside the application and the browser, but will there be any way to "block" its effect on my page? to maintain the interface size.

Regards!.

Hello Chris, Have you tried adding a CSS base on the device used.

I think this can help you.

Hi Marwin,

Yes, it has a base css and also has @media specific queries for certain devices that had problems.

The specfici problem of the VIewMode is that it alters the resolution of the phone screen, specifically reduces it (small), this causes the @media queries to be activated for lower resolutions but the phone itself has the largest screen so the content is cut.
