Audio recording in MP3 or Wave format

Question

Are there any components available for recording an audio in MP3 or WAVE file format?

We need to integrate with a third party API which needs audio data in WAVE format.

if we have a plugin which records in WAVE format that's ideal.

If not, at least a plugin which records in MP3 format and then we can use MediaToolkit to convert to WAVE.
