Set Up on-Premise Infrastructure to amazon EC2
Question

Hi, everyone can anyone tell me if this is possible? setting up on-premise infrastructure to amazon EC2,

and if yes how do you do it? for example installing lifetime on the server. I dont have any experience in amazon or databases in general. I just want to know if this is possible.

Marvei

Hi,

Yes it can run in EC2 instances and also in Microsoft Azure.

See this official OutSystems documentation:

https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/11/Setting_Up_OutSystems/OutSystems_system_requirements

On premise means I think you install and maintain the OutSystems infrastructure yourself either in a private network or on your own AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure from with your own data centre or hosted by a third party NOT being OutSystems.

Hi Marvei,

On Premise installation means that you will be installing the Outsystems platform server in your own network and not in any of the publicly available cloud networks like Amazon EC2.

See this link for more details.
