Richwidget Component issues

Hi,

I am having issue with two component

  1. DropDownMenu: I am adding menus dynamically and when I do ajax refresh it looses the the drop down arrow and it takes two click to collapse a menu which is made isActive

  2. List_BulkSelect: It stops working in tablet or mobile.

Let me know if anybody had fixed this in the past.

From conversations internally, it sounds like the DropDownMenu issue may be a bug. Can you please open a ticket with support and provide them with the information on the issue? That will ensure that it gets properly tracked and resolved.

Might help if you can provide a small OML that reproduces the issues.

Also would be helpful if you include the platform version and version of Service Studio you're using, and the type of project (traditional web, or mobile, etc.).

Hi,

Attaching a zip which contains a video of showing the issue. I am building a traditional web in service studio version 11.6.13 Build 6720 and my platform server version is 11.0.606.0

Apologies for the delayed response. I had time to test the OML you shared, and I see both issues.

May I ask why you're using AJAX Refresh with the DropDownMenu?

Will see if I can find an answer on the List_BulkSelect.

Hi,

User add the menu and submenu dynamically, so after they edit or add menu we do ajax refresh the menu webblock.

I could be wrong, but I suspect the DropDownMenu was not designed with that use case in mind. In my experience, this is a pretty unusual use case.

I'll follow up if I'm able to find out anything else that would be helpful.

I think List_BulkSelect is not intended for non-desktop scenarios, but you could include that in your support ticket to verify.
