how to debug app on android mobile ?
Question

I've installed outsystems app on my android device then I connect my mobile to the machine and it is detected after that it asks me to open the app in my android device , I've opened Outsystems app and nothing appears and it still asks me to open the app, so what app should I have to opne while debugging ?

Solution

Hello Muhamed,

Make sure you're following all the steps of the documentation for the mobile scenarios. Make sure you got all the options to debug (and your phone is ready for it). For Troubleshooting also check this topic.

To test a mobile app on an Android device:

  1. In your device turn USB debugging ON.
  2. Connect your mobile device to the PC through a USB cable.
  3. In your device allow PC for debugging on the device.

addition to this you will get the 3rd option only when you have enable your developer mode.
