Question

In this article https://www.outsystems.com/evaluation-guide/can-i-integrate-outsystems-with-svn-tfs-or-github/ it's described that it's possible to integrate OutSystems with eg. Git/GitHub.

I wasn't able to find any documentation/examples/blog posts about this and what can be achieved with it. 

Does anyone can give me some practical examples what can I achieve with this integration and how to do it?

It depends on the version of OutSystems you are using. Accordingly the LifeTime APIs may vary.
