Below is a quick update on the status of the COVID-19 Community Response Program.
Project #7
This project will be an e-commerce platform to municipalities (Lisbon Municipality is 100% supporting this idea), which will have access to commerce and volunteer associations, that will allow them to manage this crisis by providing:
A means for shops (Food markets, Pharmacies, ...) to expose an emergency catalog for essential goods, with basic stock management
Based on Geolocation, a consumer can find what is available near his/her house
Volunteers or any public entity can register to help on the distribution to vulnerable people
Integration with online payment methods to avoid physical contact
Integration with distribution platforms (Glovo, Uber Eats, etc.)
This is not only a problem for the economy and to keep jobs, but it also imposes severe limitations to people depending on those shops that are now constrained to stay home - mainly the most vulnerable ones, elderly and seek people. This is a combination of two ideas “Food and Basic Goods Delivery” and “Around Me”.

Technical feasibility of using the OutSystems platform
Project team commitment to build and run the project
Availability of relevant subject matter experts in the team
