Is there a way to control access for the factory configuration to people with a specific role maybe? There are multiple env level configurations here which we don't want to expose to everyone having access to the env.

Strange application has no specific roles defined. I agree that would be truly useful.

Do you have any news on this matter? We've just opened a support case since despite the Admin role being enforced there is still read access by a non-Admin, although no changes are apparently being allowed (with unfriendly user messages)...

I am a bit confused by your question, that news are you expecting? I mean isn't it us, the community to expect a reply from the component creators?
You're absolutely right Daniël, but since the fellow community members in this post are interested parties possibly considering multiple solutions ;) and while we wait for further component announcements, I wondered if any news could be shared in this discussion topic since it is already quite old.
