IPP - Personal to Enterprise

Hi!

I am currently developing an app for university.

I had to start by using my personal environment because my university hadn't signed the protocol with OutSystems yet and I had to progress anyways.

Now that the protocol has been signed, I need to transfer the app from my personal environment to the enterprise environment provided for my university so my group colleagues are also able to develop the app with me.

I have already done quite a bit of work on my personal environment and so I don't want to start all over again on the enterprise environment.

Is there a way to transfer the app from my personal environment to my university's enterprise environment?

Thanks in advance,

Pedro.

HI Pedro,

Due to the security reasons the app developed within one environment cannot deploy to the other environment having different activation key , however you can use the IPP Portal where you can submit your app and make it work for other environment .

For more information you can visit the below link.

I have used it and, unfortunately, it gives me an error because I'm trying to deploy an app created on a personal environment to an enterprise environment.

I am looking for an alternative way so I can save many hours of rebuilding the app on the enterprise environment.

Hi,

You CANNOT use the IPP portal to transfer IPP from personal environment to a paid license.

You have 3 options:

1. Upload to the Forge. Then download and after that remove from the Forge.

2. Upload to forum and download.

Both options make your code available to the community. If that is not an option then;

3. Contact OutSystems  support and ask them to remove the IPP explaining your situation. They will review it and most likely help you. https://success.outsystems.com/Support/Personal_Environment/Move_apps_from_your_personal_to_an_enterprise_subscription

Daniel

IPP Portal allows to unblock Apps to other environment (from personal to paid license as well).

Looks like IPP never sends emails back anymore.

UPDATE:

  • IPP page works, but it takes time.
  • uploading to the forum also works.

Thanks.

I've encountered an issue with Intellectual Property Protection (IPP) in my reactive web application. Despite numerous attempts, I haven't been able to remove it. My application is hosted on my personal infrastructure.

Furthermore, I submitted this application to Forge for review 24 hours ago, and it's still in progress. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to disable IPP and any insights into the review process timeline.
