Session Timeout in a reactive App

Hi,

I am trying to implement a different session timeout in a reactive application.

I already tested the BrowserSession extension but when used in reactive it returns the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object.", in traditional works well.

Has anyone had this problem? What solution can be applied?

Thanks,

Bruno F. Cantante

Hi Bruno, in Reactive you don't have the concept of session so you need to create this by yourself or use a component, for example I use this one: https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/7226/sso-reactive-and-traditional-web

here you will create a session and you can use it for your timeout needs

Hi Carlos,

thanks for your answer.

Exists the security exception, exist the validation of roles, exist the action getUserId(), I think Outsystems uses something, maybe what already exists for mobile:

https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/10/Managing_the_Applications_Lifecycle/Secure_the_Applications/Configure_Mobile_App_Authentication#configure-mobile-app-authentication-settings

if so, what I'm trying to change in the context of this application is Max Idle Time.
