COVID-19 Community Response Update - April 13

Hello Community!

Hope you all had a great weekend and a fantastic Easter (if you celebrate!). In addition to all the apps the community is creating, our team is also working on adding a few apps to the Forge for anyone to download/use. For example, we’re adding a generic version of Stemcell’s Staff Safety App to Forge. If you’ve added something to Forge that would benefit others regarding COVID-19, let us know! We’ll make sure it’s added to our list.

Now, let’s get to today’s latest project from the COVID-19 Community Response Program.

Project #17

The National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS) is a temporary Dutch organization in charge of coordinating the distribution of patients among Dutch hospitals during the corona crisis in the Netherlands, in order to make the best possible use of intensive care during these difficult times. This idea will become a web-based app to collect information about available beds in ICUs in the different hospitals spread over The Netherlands and ensure that the distribution of patients is optimized in a way that patients are routed to the correct hospitals. LCPS will be the main user of this app, which has official support from the Dutch Ministry of Health.

Criteria reminder:

  • Potential impact as measured by total population helped

  • Technical feasibility of using the OutSystems platform

  • Project team commitment to build and run the project

  • Availability of relevant subject matter experts in the team
