Difference between imei and deviceid

Hi

What is the difference between IMEI and DeviceId?

I am using GetDeviceIMEI action of IMEI Plugin and GetDeviceID of Common Plugin.

And does multiple sims in phone affect either of the case.

And can we have imei or deviceid for ios?

Hi, 

Got these off Google. 

Your IMEI number is your phone's own identification number. There isn't one device that has the same IMEI number as another device

On Android, the device ID is the GPS ADID (or Google Play Services ID for Android). A user is able to access their GPS ADID within the settings menu under 'Google - Ads,' as well as reset the ID, and opt-out of ad personalization.

SIM cards should't affect. they have their own set of identifiers : ICCID, IMSI and MSISDN

Hi Shubham,

Here's a post that might be helpful. 

As it is stated in the post, iOS does not allow IMEI numbers to be read. Getting the DeviceID with Common Plugin should however work.
