COVID-19 Community Response Update - May 18

Happy Monday, you wonderful and magnificent community. Hope you are all rested and ready for a kick-ass week!

Below is a quick update on the status of the COVID-19 Community Response Program.

Project #23

The concept of the idea is to allow small businesses to have a listing and post to consumers their COVID-19 readiness and response. There are several restrictions as businesses begin to open up and currently there is no easy way to know what various requirements each individual business has. Using this platform, that is going to be called Small Business Marketplace, small and medium businesses can display their individual business readiness plan, whether face masks are required, if there are special hours for high-risk customers, if they provide local delivery and/or virtual shopping, at-store pick-up, inform the percentage of capacity, etc. Small businesses will also be able to provide links to e-commerce sites, links to tools like Calendy and Zoom, store hours, location and business contact information.

*Although this is the 23rd project announcement, we’re only currently supporting 19 projects. We have one final spot up for grabs!!

Criteria reminder:

  • Potential impact as measured by total population helped

  • Technical feasibility of using the OutSystems platform

  • Project team commitment to build and run the project

  • Availability of relevant subject matter experts in the team

YASSS!! yayayay

Good to know that..... Thanks
