Hello,

I have been using the Sketch plugin for sometime,

latest version of our mobile apps was MABS 5.8, as of then the sketch function is working fine,

But once upgraded to MABS 6.1 (tested 6.2 as well)

The Sketch plugin behaves strangely,

it shows a pop up box that when we try to sketch on it, the pop up box simply moves with the finger,

causing the sketch to not working properly.

On MABS 5.8, when we call the sketch function, it will show a full window and we can sketch just fine in it.

Can I get an advice on this issue?

Feedbacks/questions appreciated

Update on the question,

Saw the latest update 3 weeks ago and proceed on the update,

The sketch now works in full window, but the sketch replaces the image with a white background,

And we cannot draw on top of the image like we could on MABS 5.8

Advice/feedback appreciated

 Hi kuandi chandra,

In the new version a few extra options are added. You should take a loot at the new options and adjust them for your needs. In the beginning I also had a issue with a white background. I did set the inputType to 1 and that solved it for me, but as I told earlier, it is depending on your specific usecase. You could also check the documentation on https://github.com/bendspoons/cordova-plugin-sketch as this module is using that GitHub repository and all the new options are explained on that page. Hope it helps you a bit.

Solution

Hi Bart,

Tested your suggestion and it works like a charm!

The InputType seals the deal and now it is working as intended,

Thank you very much for the help!

Hi kuandi chandra,

No problem. Glad I could help :)
