[ServiceCenter] Email Configuration for multiple email servers.
Question
Hello

ServiceCenter allows you to config 1 set of email settings, some applications may require the use of multiple email servers.

Example
Vendor 1: Is using application X, and they want to send emails from their own server mail.vendor1.com using their own email address service@vendor1.com
Vendor 2: Is using application X,, and they too want to send out emails from their own servers mail.vendor2.com using their own email address service@vendor2.com

How would you handle this scenario?

Hi Robert,

To handle that scenario, you can use the eMail Services component.

hi Rodirgo

Does eMail Services use the same email querying service that is built into the platform? and where do I find "eMail Services"?

Hi Robert,

This component does not uses the built-in email capabilities of the platform. With it, you design emails using Web Screens and configure eMail Services to render those screens and send them as emails.

You can find the component here: https://www.outsystems.com/NetworkSolutions/ProjectDetail.aspx?ProjectId=80

Hi Rodrigo,

I need to implement the same thing. Shall I use the eMail Services component, or some new feature has been add since 2010?

Many thanks

Hi Rodrigo,

It is quite a nice component, but I don't think that It support multiple email.
Into the setup you can insert only the default account directly into the platform server.

Thanks

Hi Simon,

Have you tried to use the RichMail (is system component so already with the platforma) with that you are able to specify the server when sending an email.

Cheers.
