SAP integration requirements

We're having a case with a SAP connection. SAP is on-prem installation and our OS setup is in OS Cloud. Some questions prior planning our work:

Questions:

- What do i need to ask from SAP developers to get access there? Certainly username and password but what else i'd need to remember to ask from them?

- We will need to have VPN access. Shall I just message OutSystems and our Client's IT department and they will sort it out together? Or do I need to do something.

Hi,

Regarding the question on how to access SAP from OutSystems, assuming you first have arranged a working VPN via and OutSystems support case.

To connect to an SAP environment, so that OutSystems can discover the SAP functions you need:

  • IP address of the application server
  • Instance number
  • System ID
  • Username
  • Password.

Daniel

Hi Jasmo,

I think you should start with reading this documentation

Hi,

For the VPN you have to create a support case at OutSystems.
