Hey everyone,
We hope you’re all keeping safe and sound!
Today we come with some fresh news regarding the OutSystems Certification program.
Let’s start from the beginning: We kickstarted the OutSystems Certification Program a while ago with a Web single certification track, now known as Traditional Web. As the product evolved with the introduction of Mobile apps, we followed with the creation of the Associate Mobile Developer certification.
Back in 2019, our product team launched Reactive Web as a “new way of building highly performant and scalable applications” (Tiago Simões - Principal Product Designer in Engineering ). And with that, we launched the Associate Reactive Web Developer Certification.
And now on Monday, August 10th, we will be introducing the new....
Associate Reactive Developer Certification!
As our product keeps evolving, we are now merging the Associate Reactive Web Developer with the Associate Mobile Developer Certifications, introducing the brand new Associate Reactive Developer certification exam, that covers the development fundamentals common to both Reactive Web and Mobile.
This means that the Reactive Web and Mobile certification tracks will merge into one, leaving us with two tracks: Reactive and Traditional Web.
And we have more news, as we are also launching the new Mobile Developer Specialization!

Some extra answers to your possible questions:
What happens to my Associate Reactive Web Developer certification? All certified Associate Reactive Web Developers will automatically get the Associate Reactive Developer badge and certification.
What happens to the already purchased and scheduled Associate Reactive Web Developer exam? The exams already purchased and scheduled will follow the same process described in the question above.
What about Traditional Web?There are no updates here, the Traditional Web certification track will continue as it is. Since Traditional Web is a different certification track and development paradigm, there will be no equivalences given between these two certification tracks. For instance, a Professional Traditional Web Developer will not have an equivalence to a Professional level Certification on the Reactive certification track.
Hi,
And what's happens to my Associate Mobile Developer certification?Cheers
