Hello everyone,

I'm starting a project in which it will be necessary to integrate with JD Edwards ERP.

I was wondering if someone has experience with such an integration that could help me with some general information/tips. As far as I know, there isn't any built-in functionality for integrating with JD Edwards (such as the one for integrating with SAP), I've also searched for Forge components and community forums but I haven't found much information other than a couple of posts regarding very specific problems.

Overall it seems that we might need to put together a custom solution in order to integrate via an API, but I thought it might be a good idea to ask before in case someone has successfully integrated with it in the past, and perhaps is willing to share their knowledge about any specific components/development patterns that may be useful, general advice, as well as any potential pitfalls.

Asking this in a general way because the full extent of the integration is still being analyzed, so all kinds of related information would be useful and appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Fransisco,

I have experience with integration .net applications with JDEEdwards. I did this consuming their SOAP web services. Those are well documented.

You can consume the .wsdl of the JDE SOAP services you need too integrate with and consume them in OutSystems.

Furthermore OutSystems has documented integration patterns that can help you abstract the integration, and also make it more performant.
