Can you give any example of a site that does that?
The way I see this, you want a remote site to control a local device. You will need to install software locally.

On a phone/tablet you can read from the camera. Is that behavior you are trying to recreate?

Thanks for your prompt response.

We have a web application where user has to upload documents.

We are using inbuilt upload control by this user upload the document and document saved in the system.

We also want to upload document by scanning it through the scanner device.

So we need some control once user click the button document scan through the scanner and scanned document will show in the custom widget  and once user want to save this document it will save in the system, same like we are using the camera plugin in the mobile app.
