Connector ODBC 32bits
Question

Hello everyone,

I need help,my company have since 2016 OutSystems version 8 (I know ...) and I want to see if it is possible to connect to an external database using ODBC 32bits.

In Service studio 8/Service Center when creating an external database connection I just have 2 options in DBMS (SQL Server or Oracle).

Is there any way to create or is it possible to anchieve a connection using ODBC ????

(I already searched unsucessufully in the forum... )

Hi Pedro,

Not having any experience with your use case, I can only point you to this documentation that states in should be possible to connect with a not natively supported database with ODBC drivers through an extension.

If you don’t get a satisfactory answer on this Forum, I would suggest to contact OutSystems support for additional information.

I appreciate you help, I already saw this documentation, I am trying now to use the DB2iSeries connector from Forge, but I am having trouble to configure it, and I really dont know if I can anchieve the ODBC connection in this scenario.
