On sort/sorting of table does not work

I have a table and i want to apply sorting on the header cells, but it does not do anything at all. It looks like this:

as you see right in the corner, i have selected the sort attrubute already, do i miss something?

Can you confirm your table has an event set for OnSort, like on the image below:
