I am just getting started with PingFederate. It's sad that no one suggested you a solution. I am interested in this question too.

I've done that over a year ago. It wasn't a pleasure, but was doable.

You have to read the documentation from Ping with attention and test a lot with Postman. Have someone on Ping side to help you going through the specs and debug the tests.

Also check with Security team to be sure the configurations are ok (we had some issues that were found only hours before going to production).
