About Reactive web OutSystems transaction boundaries
Application Type

When does the transaction start and end in the Reactive Web app?

As described in the following manual, will it start at the first DB access and end at the end of Server Action (?)?https://success.outsystems.com/ja-jp/Documentation/11/Reference/OutSystems_Language/Data/Database_Reference/Handling_Transactions

In general Web applications, I think that transactions are often started and ended when the logic on the server side starts and ends,
Therefore, anyone can confirm and explain that the above understanding is correct.

Hi Dilmi Hashara Amarasingha,

Every time an OutSystems Reactive application interacts with the server, it does so using REST calls. A database Transaction is established for each REST call, starting when the server first receives the request and finishing when a response is sent back to the client.

For Traditional Web Applications in OutSystems, the same happens: when the server receives a request for a screen it starts a transaction, then runs the Preparation and generates the HTML and when the response is ready to be sent back to the browser it closes the transaction.

Hope this clarifies!
