Hi all!
We, your Technical Knowledge team at OutSystems, are always striving to improve our documentation and training to better serve you, our readers from the Community.
We regularly gather information from several sources on how each page is being used and its overall score, based on your invaluable "thumbs up/down" feedback. We also take note of the written feedback we get from the Community. After gathering this information, we perform our own investigation to determine what we can do to make these pages more useful. Our goal is to help you find the information you need quickly so you can get back to creating awesome apps.
Here’s what’s changed this month:
Online Training
Another course has been published, this time on Light BPT that covers processing large amounts of data with Light Processes.
We are continuing to expand the work of replacing our voice-overs with real voices. We've updated the Local Storage course with a new human voice-over.
Product Documentation Updates
Based on our users’ helpful feedback, we completely reorganized the OutSystems UI reactive/mobile documentation, and now the patterns documentation is organized in the same way as the live style guide.
We've added information to the technical preview Multilingual Reactive Web and Mobile Apps on how to translate system components.
We've updated Integrating a model in your app so that it matches the changed property name within a system action of the ML Builder extension.
Harden the protection of mobile apps with AppShield now contains more information about obfuscation and performance.
With the new release of the Camera Plugin, we created new and improved product documentation.
The first version of the new Barcode Plugin documentation was published!
With the release of three new Firebase-based mobile plugins, we published an updated document on how to add these plugins to your app.
Also, working from our users' feedback we improved the Create a One to Many Relationship article to provide an easy way for the users to know more about delete rules.
You can now edit the data of your entities directly in Service Studio and we love it! Check the introduction to edit data article and learn how to do the basic tasks of adding, removing or editing records!
Service Studio command line has been provided as a reference for the commands available to execute common development tasks using the CLI of your choice, such as opening or merging modules, and creating new applications.

Experience Builder
We added a step on our tutorial to ensure new users know how to replace flows, and we also updated the reference tables inside the Experience Builder Components package reference.
The new release of Experience Builder includes several improvements, including the addition of new signup and login flows, and the ability to replace certain flows by other flows of the same type (without needing to reconnect all the endpoints). Here are the release notes
Workflow Builder
Case Management framework
The new release of the Case Management framework added improved search actions for Cases and Activities and also added a few extra access control checks on service actions.
Furthermore, the list of actions that take access control into account has been updated, and we also made sure to update the reference documentation for the Case Services API and the Case Configurations API.
Documentation for enterprise ecosystems
If you have more feedback about the updated content, feel free to create a post in this thread, or leave feedback on the corresponding page, or you can send the feedback directly to us at knowledge@outsystems.com. We would love to hear from you! Stay tuned for more . . .
