[In-App Chat Reactive] Chat Message with users
Question
Forge component by Daniel Filipe
Application Type
Reactive
Can someone give me an example of how to implement a message chat with users? for example: facebook or another social network

Hello Filipe

Please Check the Sample Reactive Chat App - https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/10909/simple-reactive-chat-app-sample

You can use its OML for the initial version, and then add the Image and Files - https://personal-9qwkrkgl.outsystemscloud.com/ChatApplication/LetsChat

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Here is the complete documentation if you want to build by own - https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/11/Developing_an_Application/Design_UI/Patterns/Using_Traditional_Web_Patterns/Content/Chat_Message

You might need a firebase event for Notifications and Messages, Please use the following component,

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/1406/firebase/?Unfollow=False

Before using that do an Analysis of how to use firebase.

Thanks

Thanks! But I am using this component "In App chat reactive" and I wanted an example of implementation with this component

Ahh, you are looking for someone who has build the chatting app like any Social Media using this component and want that sample! Is it?

Probably that would not be easy to find.

that's it,as an example of a conversation with a user

Okay that's fine. But better would be to use what is already build, working and in hand in my opinion :)

Hello Filipe,

We don't have a proper sample for the In-App Chat Reactive but we have published in forge the My Wellbeing App that uses this component to implement a chat between the mobile app and the reactive backoffice. Check these components here:

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/8215/my-wellbeing

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/8214/wb-backoffice

I hope that helps you.
