We, your Technical Knowledge team at OutSystems, are eager to improve our documentation and training to better enable you.

We regularly gather information from several sources on how each page is being used and its overall score, based on your invaluable "thumbs up/down" feedback.

Not only that, but we also take note of the written feedback we get from the Community. After gathering this information, we perform our own investigation to determine what we can do to make these pages more useful. Our goal is to help you find the information you need quickly so you can get back to creating awesome apps.

Here are your August updates:

Expanding the product documentation

• Case Management framework errors documentation is now available. With this new approach to errors and error documentation, there is a unique error code for each error, making it easier to differentiate, search, and act on an error that you’re facing.
  
  
• With the new release of the tech preview Emails in Mobile and Reactive Web Apps, developers can now add attachments and use new email widgets when designing content.
  
  
• We’ve recently included information about Integration Builder into two topics, Integrating OutSystems with your ecosystem and OutSystems extensibility.
  
  

Improving existing documentation by acting on users feedback

• How to integrate OutSystems with Workato. We’ve improved this documentation so that it was clearer to our users that the Workato connector does not support exposing entities that are not present in the main database catalog of the OutSystems platform.
  
  
• As our product keeps evolving, existing technical procedures sometimes get outdated. Following a support case where a customer detected some missing steps in the documentation to re-install the OutSystems platform on a different path, we’ve updated that procedure.

Documentation for enterprise ecosystems

• Curious about how to implement CI/CD in an OutSystems factory using a combination of native features, supported testing tools, and integration of leading third-party testing suites and deployment orchestration platforms?  Then make sure to read this new CI/CD whitepaper.
