Hello All,
I downloaded 5.1.1.17 to a new laptop and then published my old .oml I had created on the other laptop 5.1.1.13.
I received the following error message.
"Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset."
And the espace does not publish tot he browser?
Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Shawn

Solution
Hi Shawn,
Let me try to suggest some of the common issues, to see if they help you troubleshoot this scenario:
- Firewall
- Antivirus
- Are the OutSystems services started?
- Is IIS available?
The thing is, the error you're getting is an IIS error, and the error means just that: connection was reset.
Have you looked into the Windows Event Viewer, and check if there's any error being logged at that time? Maybe that would help troubleshooting this.
Regards,
Paulo Tavares

Hi Paulo,
Thank you for your reply. I checked all that you suggested. All the services were fine...
I then opened the
Client Tabs Sample.oml
then published and it was fine.
What would make the publish not work correctly?
Regards,
Shawn

Solution
Hi Shawn,
I'm glad to know you got it to work. Sadly, I have no idea what may cause a connection reset error. Even searching in Google didn't yield a conclusive answer.
Maybe it was just a transient error (I hate this explanation, but if nobody else knows more about it, it'll have to do :| ).
Regards, and let us know if it happens again.
