Hi guys, I got a problem when I created a new project and then created a new module for that which there is already an existing name on another project. I didn't have any issue or error show up when I named my new module (for the new project) but I noticed that the current existing module of that other project has been moved to Independent Modules. Btw, I'm using reactive, is it also the same with trad/mobile?
Thanks,
Ruru
Hi Ruru,
If you create a module with the same name of a module that exists you should get the following popup:
This is irrespectively of the module type, it is not moving the original module to independent modules.
So for me, it is unclear what sequence of tasks you performed that you got this behavior.
Can you reproduce the steps to get into the situation that you describe?
Regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel, that pop-up did not show after I created the new module, that is why I'm confused about what happened on the existing module with the same name.
I suggest you report this to OutSystems using the feedback button in service studio.
If you can describe the except steps you take to reproduce, that would help..maybe you do something different than I did.
Hello Ruru,
Please go through with these links. It might help you to understand how to manage the different modules into applications.
