How can I check the change history of a specified action or screen?
Application Type
Traditional Web, Reactive
Service Studio Version
11.14.7 (Build 58100)

It's depressed when realize that the source code is overwritten by someone else,

and cost more to find out the truth(WHO & WHEN).

Is there any solution to solve this case(find out the source code killer) efficiently?

Hi,

you cannot know quickly when and what changes an action had. The only way is checking version by version and compare the code.

As a good policy for the future to avoid that is requesting to comment the code on every change done.

Thank you !

I have no other efficient way to do but check each version as you said.

Hi Aladdin,

I think this topic may help: https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/69460/can-i-compare-between-two-history-versions/

As from Service Studio you can "Open Other Version" to see Who & When changes the code.

Hi,

I think for now, you can just check one by one manually.

I'm not sure that there are other ways else that help.

Khuong

Hi Chunjie Xing,

This is a limitation in OutSystems. I suggest you to create a idea on this topic so that OutSystems might take this up in future.

Thanks
