How to stop/cancel long running solution

Hello Team,

I have prepared solution having all the modules & extension. Before push changes on PROD server we usually publish this solution to refresh references.
This solution running from last couple of hours, it stuck . I don't know how to abort/cancel this long running solution.

Can someone please guide me to abort this long running solution.

If you're using On-Premise version there should be the possibility to restart those manually. But if your are using OutSystems Cloud version, you should be able to do a restart of services from LifeTime:

Hey Pradip,


There are some things you could do

  • Publish one of the modules that's part of the solution manually, usually that will abort the current solution publish
  • Try restarting the Deployment Controller Service or the IIS, one of this should also abort the current operation
  • There is also another workaround, update your current solution by dissociating all modules and leave only one module that you know it's going to be published fast. After that, just re-run the solution publish from Service Center, it should override your long running solution publish

Deployment Controller Service or the IIS. I don't know.

In the lifetime deployment plan, deployment has stuck from last 24 hrs. I want to stop this deployment but i can not able to see any option to stop it.

Can someone please suggest how can we stop this deployment.

Accessing https://<yourinfrastructure>/lifetime/ForceStagingClose.aspx help to force the termination of a deployment.
