Windows Server 2008 R2 + SQL Server 2008 R2
Question
I tried to install it on a VM running Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2 and after installing the platform, when I try to configure it (with the Config Tool obviously), when I try to create the DB users I always get an invalid login error.

Any ideas if I'm doing something wrong?

Hi Carlos, Did you mA age to workaround the problem? If not, could you provide the exect error? Also check event viewer logs, extra error information is written here. Regards, Joao Portela

Well, I finally figured what was wrong:

Do not try to install the platform at 2 AM or you may miss an important step in the install check list.

:)

I hadn't created the OutSystems catalog in SQL Server, that's why the login was failing.

On the other hand, maybe the Configuration Tool should have a button to create the catalog because the one that says "Create/Upgrade Database" doesn't actually create the catalog.
