Firebird Integration in Database External Connection

Is it possible today connect an outsystems application with an external database Firebird, using the Integration Studio ? This bank type is not listed in the Service Center Database Connection options.

Hi Roberto,

Firebird is not listed as a database provider that is supported by Integration Studio, nor Integration Builder.

You could try and create an OutSystems extension using Integration Studio that consumes the .NET or the ODBC driver, listed on the server packages page of firebird: https://firebirdsql.org/en/server-packages/

The .NET driver should be your preference to try over the ODBC driver as it most likely give you a more high-performance integration.
