Hi,

When receiving notifications from OneSignal on android devices, the notification appears on the device, but nothing happens when you open it.

I've noticed that the guide here instructs me to add to the Extensibility Configurations field of the Module. To do this, I went to Lifetime -> Modules -> One Signal plugin -> Settings -> Extensibility Configurations and changed it to custom, so that it now looks like this.

I've then tagged and generated a new version.

When tested; there is no change. Still notifications do not open in Android.

Have I missed a step?

Thank you

Hello,

I think if you want to redirect the user, by clicking on the notification, you have tocreate a deeplink for that,

You need to create your action accordingily for deeplink

check this post here what you need to do, not sure but maybe if you have missed this step

Hope this will help

Thanks

Hi Tousif and thanks for the reply.

My notifications do contain deep links and open fine in iOS.

In this instance, I don't want to direct the user to a URL, just open the deep link, so I don't think the link you provided is relevant to this specific problem. Do you think I am mistaken?

Thanks again

Hi @Leigh Rogers , have you tested this on other android devices?

There might be settings in the android device itself that you are using for testing that is preventing notifications to be received by the target app.
