Hi,
I'm trying to apply for EAP for Project Neo since I want to make a sample app in Neo and see what it is like. But I have a few questions. My question is below.
・How long can we use Project Neo after applying for EAP?
・Is it free of charge to try EAP?
・any of Outsystems users can try EAP?
・I wonder what exactly we do after apply for EAP.....Do we install ServiceStudio for Neo or something?
・Is there anything I have to keep in mind to use Neo in EAP?
I googled the above but I couldn't find any answers... Would you happen to know about that?
Best,
How long can we use Project Neo after applying for EAP?
I would say as long as the EAP runs.
After general availability there are most likely license plans for companies and I guess a free version simulst to what.community members currently have with their personal environment in OutSystems 11
Yes, as long as.thr EAP runs
Currently the EAP is only available for a limited group of OutSystems partners and customers. Not for individuals. Maybe that changes in due time. I don't know.
If you work for an OutSystems partner or company you might be contacted by OutSystems and they will provision a tenant in project neo. You will then get instructions on how to get started.
As long as Neo is in EAP, things can change so, you might reconsider to keep developing in OutSystems 11 if you are building business critical applications. Also in the current state of the EAP you can only build web applications, mobile application development is not yet available.
here is all the technical documentation available currently regarding project neo

Hope this answers your questions.
