SMTP setting -is the password get save somewhere.?
Application Type
Traditional Web

HI:

I  have no problem using dnschecker.org to communicate with my mail SMTP server so I know the setting are correct . I still get internal 500 error when sending email using outsystem. So I trying figure out why it won't work in outsystem. I suspect the password to the SMTP server is not saved in outsystem? How do I confirm this? Visually it seems the password jsut disappear everytime it is saved...usually I see  *****.

thanks

Hi Huy,

1. Can you uncheck the "Redirect Emails to Test List" Checkbox and try, because if this checke box is checked mail will go to the emails ids configured in the "Test lists addresses" Field(which is the last field) . I could see there are no email ids present in that "Test lists addresses" field.

If you are unchecking that checkbox then you need to pass the valid email ID in "To address" field of the send email action.

2. If you are keeping that checkbox as checked then, keep any mail ID in "Test lists addresses" field and test to see if that checkbox is the reason for your issue.

After changing you need to click on " save and apply setting to factory" button as well.

this may help you!
