Conflict between chat module and Drop Down Menu

Conflict between chat module and Drop Down Menu

Hi All,

I have an issue on Mainflow.Home. Ive placed a button for a third party chat module on this page webscreen. It appears that on IE everything works just fine. But on Chrome and Firefox the chat button is preventing the Drop Down Menu from activating its full CSS. Can anyone look at this and suggest a workaround, either a change to the Menu CSS or a change to the XY expression on the chat button? Thanks in advance.

Julius
Hi Julius,

Did a quick look into your eSpace and I'm not sure from your explanation what is the "conflict".

Also I noticed an error on your page, not sure if they are related (googled the site xD).

there is a expression with a missing ' :  window.open('http://www.oasischicago.com/Chicago/,'User_Search',

Joao,

Thanks so much for your response. My issue is that the CSS one the MainFlow.Home Webscreen doesnt load properly for the Heading3 dropdown menu. To see what I mean, look at:

http://www.oasischicago.com/Chicago/Home/4427-N-SAINT+LOUIS+AVE-CHICAGO-IL/7902552

with IE and with Firefox/Chrome. On the IE version, you will see the header css loads as its intended. If you view through Firefox or Chrome, you will see that browser fails to implement the CSS correctly. I believe that the chat module on the right hand side is somehow interfering with the dropdown menu. If anyone can help, please do.

Julius
Hi Julius,

The site and drop down menus looks the same on all my browsers (IE7, IE8, IE9, FF and Chrome)

Apart from that:

- Missing a '
SCRIPT1006: Expected ')' line 66 character 67  : "window.open('http://www.oasischicago.com/Chicago/,'User_Search', 'height=300,width=450,status=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes'); return false;"

- Looks like a publish with incomplete stuff on that javascript
SCRIPT1006: Expected ')' Home.js?822, line 1 character 46

- Why is that javascript all quoted?
SCRIPT1004: Expected ';' Chat.js?822, line 1 character 14

Hi,
One of the problem that the Menus isn't loading correctly is because the JS Path.
http://www.oasischicago.com/Chicago/Home/4427-N-SAINT+LOUIS+AVE-CHICAGO-IL/wijmoMenu/jquery.mousewheel.min.js (only backs one time). Gonna try it to fix it tomorrow, and upload it.

But the problem is with the directory of the JS.
