Hello,
I tried to use Micro CMS application and also
I'm administrator of the platform but I can't connect to those applications within my admin account.
Same issue I'm facing when I try to connect to <<https://my-platform>>/users
I'm able to connect into Lifetime and service center without any issue.
Thanks in advance
Hi,
What error you get?
You are not sharing enough details for someone to help you?
You have connection error, or authentication error?
Regards,
Daniel
It's an authentication error. And same issue with the application downloaded from Forge : OutTracker .
So what do you want the community to do here?
You need to login with a valid username/password. We don't have it for you ;)
If this in your Personal Environment, then login with the same username (email) and password as for your community account.
If you read well what I wrote from the begeinning you shouldn't ask me such a question.
I don't need a user and password.
I told that I'm a farm admin and I can access to the Lifetime and the service center. My issue is about athentication to applications downloaded from Forge.
It can be a configuration or installation issue.
Thanks
I don't think there is anything wrong with my reply. The error message is clear, your username/password entered is an invalid combination to login.
The OutSystems applications use an User Provider. Most applications if you download the app will use Users. You can check that in the app properties.
If there is another users provider then you need to setup an account in it. But I am pretty sure they all use the Users User provider. See for example OutTracker using Users.
And that makes that I stand by my previous decision, you just need to login with a correct username and password.
You don't need LifeTime and Service Center access to fix this. Also LT and SC access don't mean you can access applications. Those are different type of accounts.
you need to access <yourplatform>/Users that is where the accounts are for your app.
You need an OutSystems Admin account or Account with UserManager role to be able to use the Users app. You don't need a LifeTime account for that.
Thank you for our reply.
The issue that we are not able to connect to the URL "https://my-pltafor/users" even with the admin account that we used to install the farm. And when I go to the documentation link
I don't see same screen and I don't have the button "Configure Administration User" when I go to users module :
I have a doubts about the installation process, because when we changed the authentication mode to LDAP, users defined in the begenning lost their access to the platform.
Thank you
Hi again,
Progressively, you share more and more information, that is really relevant for someone to help you. This is probably the reason no reply yet gave you a solution.
Obviously, changing the authentication method on the platform makes all the difference how users are authenticated and authorized.
For more information on LDAP see:
https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/11/Developing_an_Application/Secure_the_Application/End_users/End_Users_Authentication/Configure_LDAP_Authentication
Regarding not seeing the Configure Admin User, it might be relevant to check the release notes (at the bottom of platform version 11.17.1
