Hello Guys!

I'm trying to use the ultimate PDF component in a isolated on-Prem environment.

It seems that the generation of the PDF is failing due to the lack of connection to the storage.googleapis.com.

We downloaded the Win_x64_706915 files and put all the files in a new folder: c:\ultimatepdf.

it since we didn't find the folder {Temp}\.local-chromium\Win64-{Revision}\ .

we changed the temporaryfolder and defaultRevision site properties respectively, but it seems not to work.

Do i need to do something else?

What i did wrong?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,

Maayan

Solution

You have to use PDF management to solve this problem. There you can send the files for correct folder.

Hello Maayan,

Hope you doing well, you already try install the UltimatePDF Management (https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/11585/ultimate-pdf-management) and configure the revision?

Other workaround is using the Firefox (Experimental) instead.

Hello Fábio,

Management tool in fact read the site properties, so it seems the same.

You try with the workarond using Firefox (Experimental)?

And you can try to upload the Chrome revision using ZIP Action (SetupLocalBrowserFromZip) in Service Extension.

Hi all. You will need to upload the revision zip file, using the Ultimate PDF Management.

Hopefully the process is clear and self-explanatory, but if you have any issues let me know.

Hi Leonardo,

Which revision should be used?

Thanks

Having the same problem.

I'm trying to use "SetupBrowserRevision" action to install chromium on an offline environment, but the action keeps going until timeout(which I tried up to 10 min), and ends with this error:

"The client is disconnected because the underlying request has been completed.  There is no longer an HttpContext available. "

It sounds like it might be finished, but when I try to print out a pdf I get a connection error, which I'm guessing means the installation wasn't successful. Any suggestions? Do I need to enter something specific here? Or is there anything that should be done on the server beforehand?
