Hi,

After I installed this component, it overwrote the Advanced Excel component that I installed earlier.

I don't know why this happened.

Please explain to me!

Thanks!

Hi Hoi Dinh Huu,

Snippet of Advance Excel actions.

Snippet of Excel package actions

As you can see in above two screenshots highlighed that some actions are common in both forge components so when you try to install Excel package while you already installed Advance Excel , It will give you below warning also before installation.

The warning indicates that one or more modules or extensions in the Forge app you're installing(Excel Package) have the same unique identifier (key) as modules already present in your Advanced Excel plugin.

If you proceed with the installation without addressing this conflict, the existing modules in Advanced Excel will be replaced by those from the Forge app. This could potentially lead to unexpected behavior or functionality loss.

Vice versa installation will also behave same.

Kind regards,

Sanjay Kushwah

Is there a way to install both components without overwriting them?

Hi @Hoi Dinh Huu,

You can try Firstly Clone your First Module (eg. Advance excel) and published clone app and remove originally installed (this way refrenceKey of module will change)

Now you can try to install second module (eg. Excel Package).

(I am troubled here because we are facing key conflications between actions not between modules.)

It should be installed if not we need to take help from outsystems Support

similar post (related to moving modules with same refrencekey) : Error moving module - You already have modules in your factory with the same key | OutSystems

Hope this will help.
