Hello,
I have a Block with a popup inside. The popup have a placeholder.
When I use the block I can't view the popup expanded. I only view the popup collapsed. It's tedious to programming without a preview.
Is there a way to change the display mode? I don't see that option.
Regards
Hi Alvaro,
On most of Widgets, and on the Popup in particular, you can toggle the Display Mode on the two circles like in the image below:
When you use the block on another block or on a screen, it will appear in the collapsed version. The purpose is that you can see the other things being used on the block / screen.
Kind Regards,João
Hi Joao,
I know I can switch the display mode in that way, I only wanted to know if was possible to change it using blocks.
It's not possible.
Cheers,João
Hello Alvaro,
I'm having the exact same difficulty and it's hard to develop this way. Did you find any solution/workaround for this?
Thank you
Hello Ines,
As joao said, we can't see the content in the preview...
Ok, thank you!
I think this could be reported to OS as a shortcoming to Service Studio.
For no placeholder, fine, just double click the block to see how the popup would look like.
But if there is a placeholder, it could be holding a non-trivial amount of screen design in there, with no way of seeing it inside service studio.
For comparison, in case of an If widget inside a block, only the True branch is shown in places that this block is consumed, UNLESS there is a placeholder in the False branch, in that case, both are shown.
