The Browser used for debugging is unresponsive (Chrome version 111.0.5563.65)

Hey everyone,

I have a problem with debugging in service studio

When i try to debug i get the following message:


This happends after google Chrome was update to version 111.0.5563.65 (Officiële build) (64-bits)

Does anyone have a solution for this?

This is already aknowledged by Outsystems as an issue with the latest Chrome browser versions. They are working on a solution. Will keep you posted.

Hi all,

Indeed, the issue blocking the debugger when using the latest Chrome 111.0.5563 is now solved in the latest stable Service Studio: 11.53.43.

My Service Studio is still on 11.53.42, is there a way to force update? Auto-update is turned on.

You were still on 11.53.42 because the new version was not yet available this morning when you started your computer.

Hi Mikel,

Our Company has the same issue. Several collegues who updated their chrome have this problem. I reported this to OS. In their first response they asked us to downgrade to an older version of Service Studio. But this does not work. We tried several versions but this is not an solution.

Thanks for your reply.

I downgraded service studio also but as you mentioned this won’t help.

The only thing that will help i think is to downgrade chrome but that is not very easy to do. (i’am still struggling with that option)

I will ask our platform administrator to report it to OS.

We are also facing the same issue and tried with multiple service studio versions but no luck.

I have

- Service Studio version Version 11.54.1 / Build 62129 
- Chrome version Version 111.0.5563.65 (Official Build) (64-bit) 

and this works just fine. 

It seems that you still have an old version of Service Studio?
