Azure SSO error ODC

For our customer IPP we need to login to the applications with an identity provider, the SSO services of Azure. We have set up the authentication in the ODC Portal but when we try to log in we get a very generic error on screen.

The logs in the ODC portal don't show any error however, so we can not further investigate what the issue is. The one thing we do know is that there is no creation of an OutSystems user after login

Hi Bertram,

Given that as you said, the logging and traces tab also don't provide any additional information, the best is to open a support case to OutSystems to help you.

Daniel

Hello Bertram Evelo,

I also have the same problem. Were you able to find the cause/solution?

Thanks

Hello Bertram,

Has this been solved?

This issue can sometimes occur when the Secret is incorrect on the ODC configuration.  In the  "Add Azure AD for use as external identity provider" documentation, check step 7 and get a new secret.

7. Copy the newly generated value from the Value field and paste it into the Client secret (secret value, not Secret ID) field in the ODC Portal.

After fixing the Secret Value of the created External Provider at the ODC Portal, this may resolve the issue.

If I change the secret value in the Identifier configuration, will it take literally 24 hours to be effective?

Hi,

Is there a fix for this issue? In our case only 1 user has this problem at the moment. The user was able to login before.

Best regards,
Michiel
